​​The Trimble County Apple Festival - Apple Pie Contest  
Saturday, September 6, 2025
Judging will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the New Life Assembly of God Church, located on the courthouse square.
 

APPLE FESTIVAL RULES

• One entry per person
• 9-inch disposable aluminum pie plates must be used.
• Pies are not to contain any dairy. (Refrigeration is not available.)
• Entries will be taken from 10:00 A.M.  to 11:00 A.M. at the church. 
• No late entries will be  accepted!
• The recipe must accompany each entry.

By submitting an entry, you are granting the Apple Festival Committee permission to auction the pie at the end of the contest to benefit the Apple Festival.

HOW ARE PIES JUDGED?

Pies will be judged on general appearance, color, thickness, texture, flakiness, lightness of crust, & filling flavor. ​

PRIZES

• 1st place will receive $100.00 
• 2nd place will receive $50.00 
• 3rd place will receive $25.00
